ym turns 27

I am the first person to wish babytay "happy birthday" on her actual 27th birthday. How do I know for sure? Cos I was on the phone with her at 12:01am lah. Alors, Je gagne!

Haha... The "beautiful" bouquet of purple roses were pre-ordered from a gazillion years ago. My specific instructions were "Please try to make the bouquet like a garden. She likes something like this." I then showed the florist a photo of the single stalk of purple rose given by yours truly.

But... instead of a garden, she gave my babytay a pond instead. What's up with the lotus-lookalike thingy?

Hope you like the bouquet nonetheless. :)

Lunch was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.

It was always meant to be simple, even though it was at Tatsuya. Apologies for the late lunch and not having enough time for you to enjoy the food. I'd have loved to ordered some of the grilled sashimi/sushi for you to try, but the lunch was meant to be simple. We shall return another time when I'm feeling rich, ok baby?

I also gave her her birthday presents. A cute lion to accompany her in office and a very nice cup that I searched high and low for. Hope you like them. I know they're probably considered cheap, but like I told you... I'll buy you something in the US of A k? :) I love you...

I where got so cheapo!

Like I said... I was half hoping you'd get upset with me for only buying you a cup and mini soft toy. But I guess you didn't want to show it? Haha... Cos you promised me you'd like whatever I bought you.

Anyway, I bought a very nice red, suede Kate Spade bag for babytay. And I know for sure she loves it and will definitely not want to exchange it. Pictures will be left for you to upload.

Dinner was at Gunther's where we had:

• Creamy Mushroom Soup
• Roasted Foie Gras, Crushed Candied Almonds, Confit of Seasoned Fruit
• Roasted Rack of Black Pig, Compote of Apples, Crispy Potato

The food was rather good. And so was the ambience (except for the noisy PRCs). The one disappointment was that they blatantly forgot about the birthday cake which I pre-ordered, even though it was super obvious that we were celebrating babytay's birthday.

Hope you enjoyed the day. And most importantly, I hope you just remember the good parts ok? I will learn. We will learn. Things will only be better. :)
