It's Friday and we're hungreeee!

Headed down to Holland Village
Da Paulo Pizza Bar to eat..

And ym's fav Black Truffle Pizza (which wy initially found smelly
but eventually learned to like. heheh)

After that, we walked high and low searching for the 2am dessert bar

Where we played "Spot-the-smiley" on a super delicious
orange sorbet and choc mousse dessert.

Let's start with dessert! *grinz*

wy surprised me with a 2mth present of delicious chocolates. So far I've only eaten the blue one which is lavender flavoured (wy chose it cuz he knew how much I liked lavender =))

..and it was delicious! Like inhaling lavender essential oils while tasting chocolate. I know it sounds weird but the result was surprisingly soothing and sweet.

So anyway, I had to finish cooking dinner first, back to business:

Pork in Caramel Sauce

The latter received great reviews from all. wy said this is probably the best dish I ever cooked and everyone loved the sauce which left my hands and hair smelling like onions and burnt sugar, and washing the melted sugar off the skillet was a nightmare in spite of the non-stick teflon coating!

Hmm.. I don't know whether I'll be cooking this again anytime soon =P
