Luckily the ride was super fun.. didn't get ponchos cuz we queued for an
hour 'till near the start b4 realizing they were sold somewhere outside.

..where we watched a swashbuckling adventure from the spectator stands
(no explosives, gunpowder or stuntmen were spared)

Local Fare

Nothing spectacular this weekend, simple and sweet.

Was confronted with this lovely sunset when I stepped outta my house.
Such pretty pink & purple clouds.

Kick@ss "Bah Chor Mee" near Lavender MRT station.
Poor wy had to queue for 45 mins to buy two bowls for us.

The next day at TianTian Chicken Rice at the Joo Chiat area.
Incidentally wy's friend's family business, and he kept sending
wy boliao little notes which he thought was really funny!

Last Evening's Roast Lamb

Fresh from the 4hrs in the oven, still covered with
smashed garlic cloves and rosemary.

Slow Roast Lamb topped with Hot Mint & Capers Sauce
On the side: Asparagus with Mixed Mushrooms &
Parmigiano-Reggiano, topped with Asparagus Jus

(Again, the vegetable recipe was so much fussier than that of the meat!!)
