Ah.. nothing like a
US$100 Ritz Carlton breakfast to wake us up.

Compliments of a weekend promotion of course.. heheh

ym's Almond Milk Pancakes, Apple-Baked Ham
and Strawberry Banana Smoothie

wy's American Breakfast Set comes with a flask of coffee, toast,
a whole bunch of Ritz Carlton Condiments like Maple Syrup, Jam,
Marmalade and the works.

And of course, Scrambled Eggs and Sausage.

Bidding the Ritz Goodbye.

Brooklyn Bridge

Our room @ The Standard Hotel
in the swanky Meatpacking District of West Manhattan.
Loved the open concept bathroom
and the huge bathtub with the rain shower.

And the
view of the Empire State Building from the floor-to-ceiling window!
(I feel like Sleeping Beauty, about to prick my finger.. and start snoring)

Oops... Neoprint moment.. haha
Time to explore the famous Bleecker Street just nearby
(where Alicia Keys is supposedly staying.)

First stop: The Magnolia Bakery

Look at all the yummy cupcakes!
Feel like licking the cream off all of them one by one.
Huge creamy cakes!

The turkey on the Special Thanksgiving Day cupcake
turned out to be a plastic ring stuffed into the cream.
Cute!
Next up: The best hotdog in Manhattan

I managed to drip the sauce all over my jeans eating standing.. haha

Surprise find on the way, awarded the Best Pizza in New York.

Absolutely delicious,
New Yorkers aren't kidding when they brag about ny pizza.

Next stop: The much anticipated Murray's Cheese Shop

Grinning away.. wy always looks happy when
surrounded by lots of interesting food =)

Think they have every conceivable variety of cheese.

Everyone's probably queuing up to buy turkey for Thanksgiving Dinner.

Bye bye Bleecker..
Hello Chinatown!

wy refused to pose in front of this restaurant with his namesake

Ooooh really smells like a Chinese "Wet" Market - Stinky

But filled with fresh seafood on ice.
