The MET & Jean-Georges (24 Nov 09)

Lunch on the Upper East Side @ Shanghai Pavillion

which in my opinion, has some pretty awesome Chinese food
(well, the best I've tasted in Manhattan anyway =)

Fried rice and General Tso's Chicken.
Missin' home!

Onward to the MET(ropolitan Museum of Art)

Sitting right on the steps where Blair & Serena had
their first confrontation in the pilot episode of GG!

(Yes, okay. Roll your eyes, but it was seriously way too cool imagining just how many scenes were shot right on the step where I was sitting!!!)

Caffeine fix inside

Some beautiful stained glass.

Somehow staring at it just has a calming effect.

Off with her head!
Medusa's defining moment, of death.

Not his most famous, but nonetheless still a sculpture by Rodin.

On the roof.

The Manhattan Skyline from the roof garden of the Met,
Central Park is in the shadows just infront of us.

Out we come.

Channeling my inner Serena one last time before we go..
and not quite getting there, but hey I tried! =P

Back to the hotel to freshen up for the ultimate food highlight of the trip:
Dinner @ 3 Michelin Star Restaurant - Jean-Georges!

The food was absolutely to-die-for but for the sake of fine-dining etiquette, we didn't use the flash in our camera and most of the pictures were dark and unclear. So for memory, I shall just print out what wy & I had here respectively.

The happy look of love & pampered tastebuds.

Some of Bergdorf's amazingly elaborate festive store front displays
on the chilly walk to The New York Palace Hotel.

Where I am once again, shamelessly cam-whoring at what I hope is
the very seat where Serena "got drunk" at the Gilt Restaurant Bar.

My company.

The Palace Christmas Tree.

I ♥ NY.
