1st march in for the lovely coupleThe whole Garden Party Wedding was a novel concept, but an excellent idea considering that most of the Bride's colleagues are "Frenchies" as I like to call them.
Solemnisation with a humorous Justice of Peace.She joked about the way they answered the questions, how "one hesitates while the other isn't sure."
But really, it's so hard to get it right, right?!?
There's the "Do you take this woman/man to be your lawfully wedded... Blah blah blah", to which the response is "I do."
Then there's "Will you love and cherish him/her, in sickness and in health... Blah blah blah", to which the response is "I will."
Then there's "Will you love and cherish him/her, in sickness and in health... Blah blah blah", to which the response is "I will."
But often times, the sentences stretch soooooo long, your mind starts to wander, or focuses on whatever's being read out to describe the HUGE commitment you're about to make.
And before you know it, silence, waiting for your response, but you've forgotten the question!
After all, it's not every other day that we practice wedding vows and say them out loud to random people on the streets. =P
