And his famous Steak with Red Wine Reduction and Carrot Puree
Very simply paired with some boiled long beans on the side.Some comments:
I generally felt the Garlic Soup was not a let down, although regrettably we couldn't make our own chicken stock because we didn't want to waste 1kg worth of chicken doing it. In spite of that and the lack of cloves (sold out at the supermarket), the thyme and loads of garlic still made the soup delicious.
The Red Wine Reduction and Carrot Puree tasted a bit too sour for our liking, perhaps because the red wine wasn't boiled long enough over a charcoal stove (I only have gas stoves) to reduce into one small cup of syrupy essence.
All-in-all worth trying again, when we're feeling a bit richer or when we know where to find all the ingredients! Can't wait to try other recipes.. *winks*
